Connector Activation Criteria

The IBM Director Agent 6 - Windows connector will be automatically activated, and its status will be reported as OK if all the below criteria are met:

• The device type must be one of: NT
• The WMI query below succeeds:
  • Namespace: root
  • Query: SELECT Name FROM __NAMESPACE
  • Result contains: ^ibmsd;*$ (regex)
• The WMI query below succeeds:
  • Namespace: root\ibmsd
  • Query: SELECT Version FROM IBMPSG_DirectorAgent
  • Result contains: \(^6\.1\.[2-9].*\)\|\(^6\.[2-9].*\) (regex)
• The WMI query below succeeds:
  • Namespace: root\ibmsd
  • Query: SELECT ProductName FROM IBMPSG_ComputerSystemDetails
