Connector Activation Criteria

The IBM Director Agent 6 - Linux connector will be automatically activated, and its status will be reported as OK if all the below criteria are met:

  • The device type must be one of: Linux
  • A process with command line matching cimserver is running on the host
  • The WBEM query below succeeds:
    • Namespace: root/ibmsd
    • Query: SELECT Version FROM IBMPSG_DirectorAgent
    • Result contains: \(^6\.1\.[2-9].*\)\|\(^6\.[2-9].*\) (regex)
  • The WBEM query below succeeds:
    • Namespace: root/ibmsd
    • Query: SELECT ProductName FROM IBMPSG_ComputerSystemDetails
